Nico Rosberg won Australian Grand Prix:D:D
Sunday’s race was full of emotions, and also had unexpected
moments such as Ferrari’s amazing start, Fernando Alonso’s crash, red flag,
battle between Toro Rosso drivers, and even on podium drivers was interviewed
by Mark Webber, that was unexpected,
Sebastian Vettel’s expression when he saw Mark wearing suit with microphone on
his hand was great, unforgettable.
Race began with incredible start Ferrari drivers, Sebastian
Vettel from third pole, overtook Nico and Lewis with incredible style and took
the lead, then Kimi Raikkonen did the same and was on the second place, people
in Ferrari garage was cheering, because that was a great thing, actually
Sebastian Vettel had the same very good start in previous Australian Grand
Prix, then lap by lap Sebastian had more and more time advantage, until
something terrible was happened among other things Fernando Alonso crash which
was dramatic. Everything happened when Fernando overran Eseban Gutierres back
tyre then Alonso’s car was circled in the air many times, losing debris around.
Fortunatelly Fernando on his strength get off his car and it was everything OK
with him:).
Crash caused red flag, and every driver had to went back
into the pit, Sebastian lost all his time advantage, not only Sebastian also
other drivers, so after restart everything could happen, and happened after
some laps when safety car in, Kimi Raikkonen had a huge issue with his car when
Kimi was in pitlane fire appeared above his helmet, luckily mechanic put out
the fire, and after that Kimi retired.
On 38 lap started battle between Toro Rosso drivers behind
Jolyon Palmer who was on ninth position, Carlos Sainz was on tenth and Max
Verstappen was on eleventh. Time difference between three drivers was very
little less than 1 second. Max Verstappen wanted to overtook Jolyon, however he
could not because of Carlos then he said to…I think that it was his engineer:
“can I try to get fast”, engineer accepted, after that Max tried to overtake
Carlos but he could not, he was very irritated, and Carlos was under the
pression, we knew that when his racing
engineer said to him to push he
answered: “ I am pushing, I am pushing”, and his voice was upset. After some
laps Carlos overtook Jolyon, Max did the same, and they stuck behind Valtteri
Bottas, so Max was on his radio message very furious, nervous, but it has not
change anything he finished the race behind Carlos, but on point position:):).
Because of pit stops and strategy Nico Rosberg took the
lead, Lewis was on the second position and behind him with less time difference
was Sebastian, he was very close to Lewis until gone deep in to the corner, and
he lost some time, but he was still on the third position, and he finished the
race on podium. Nico Rosberg won, Lewis was second and Sebastian was third. Australian
driver, optimistic driver in all Formula One Daniel Ricciardo was fourth:).

Pole position for Lewis Hamilton :):):)
Qualification for Australian Grand Prix has finished. Lewis
Hamilton Had the best time, and tomorrow he will start on pole position, next to him
will be Nico Rosberg, and on the third pole will be Sebastian Vettel, without
surprises, however Ferrari is very close to Mercedes.
Starting from this season…..qualification looks a little bit
different, because drivers are eliminate not when session is over just during the
session. Q1 is sixteen minutes long and after seven minutes they start
eliminate driver who has the worst time one by one every 90 seconds. Today in cloudy Saturday, Pascal Wehrlein from Manor was the first eliminate driver, after 90 seconds his teammate Rio Haryanto
was also eliminated.
Then it was a time for Haas drivers Esteban Gutierrez and Romain Grosjean. Suddenly on the screen appeared Danill Kvyat out of his car in pit lane.
After that it was a fight between Jolyon Palmer and Marcuss
Ericsson. Jolyon was very determined to promote for Q2, and he did it:).
In Q2 there is fifteen minutes like it was in previous season, but after six minutes the slowest driver is eliminate, today first (in Q2) was Kevin Magnussen then Jolyon Palmer, both drivers from Renault. After that Jenson Button having some time to improve his time:D prefered to drive to pitlane and finished qualification then the same did Alonso also from Mclaren. Nico Hulkenberg and Valtteri Bottas were eliminated . the last eliminate driver was Sergio Perez who did the same thing what Jenson and Fernando did.
Finally it was a Q3 were we found out who is going to have the best time and be on pole position. So drivers has fourteen minutes, after five minutes the slowest driver is eliminated, once again every ninety seconds the next slowest driver will be knock out. Just two cars left on the truck battling in out to take pole position, but in this Q3 it was a little bit different because before the time has finished, four the fastest driver drove in to the pit lane and we found out who took pole:):).

Favourite Australian Grand Prix
I remember it
was 2007 when I found out what kind of sport Formula One is, because I did not
know until I saw an article about Polish
driver Robert Kubica who had an issue with his car, then I thought OK, but
where is his car ???. Is that a very weird machine over there which did not
resemble a racing car??, but I was fascinating, then I started looking for some
information about other drivers, teams, and of course racing where and when I
can watch it, and luckily I saw that first race of the season is in a couple
days on available channel. I was couriers how all that Formula 1 race look like
and started counting days until Australian Grand Prix.
Race started at
early morning in Poland, but in sunny Melbourne it was after midday, When I am
watching this after nine years I cannot believe how Formula One has changed
different pit stops, engines, scores, teams , also drivers there were lots of
drivers who are not driving now, for Lewis Hamilton It was a first race in
Formula One, his father was with him in every single race, from the beginning
Lewis was very talented also he was racing in very competitive team like
Mclaren with his teammate Fernando Alonso champion from previous season. In
2007 Robert Kubica was also racing. I was cheering him on. During the race he
was at fourth very high position, but then He had an issue with his car and
unfortunately he retired. English commentators had a lots of problem how they
should say Robert’s last name “Kubika” or
“Kubica”. One of them said that “Kubika” sounds faster:)
In 2007 pit stops
looked a little bit different, because of the refueling which took so much time
that the most important was a good pit stop strategy, and during the race
drivers were two times in pit. Also there was a different score. Driver who won
Grand Prix scored only ten points not twenty five like today.
Australian Grand Prix won new Ferrari driver who replaced F1
legend Michael Schumacher, I am writing about Kimi Raikkonen. Then he did not
know that he became a champion for 2007, Fernando Alonso was second, and Lewis
Hamilton rookie driver was third that was a fantastic result for him on his
first race, amazing and now in 2016 he is a three times champion. That is
incredible.
When I watched that race in 2007, Formula One race for the
first time I was so excited, fascinating and full of best emotions that F1
became my passion, so my favourite Australian Grand Prix is from 2007.
Below I would like to show you a video of most memorable
moments from that race:):)

Winter testing in Formula One part 2.
Last winter testing has finished on Friday last week. It was
a fantastic feeling to watch again (before Australian Grand Prix) all these
atmosphere and heard sounds from the engine. From that part of testing Sauber
has a new car, however they had a technical issues, not only Sauber because
Romain Grosjean car had also issue with breaking system, Jolyon Palmer during
last three days made less than two hundred laps which is not a good result.
From second part of testing Ferrari drivers had best lap
times, so it is possible that in this season they can fight with Mercedes for
Championship. Ferrari drivers were testing a head protection which was a lot of
discuss, drivers had a different opinion about it some drivers say that it will
be too safe, furthermore it looks awful, however for other driver safety is the
most important so they agree.
It is only 7 days to
go:). I would like to show you my mixture video of testing part 2:):),
enjoy:):).
Thank you for reading and watching, see you next post:):):)
