What do flags mean in Formula1??

Flags in Formula One are really really important, just like a part of rule, when driver does not adopt to them, always will be punished, so it is serious….:). I would like to explain you a little bit what they mean.

( Ten flags which I made especially for you:))

So in Formula One there is TEN FLAGS

the most popular is…obviously the chequered one:D
It seemed to me that this flag is always show us finished race where it is shown to the winner and every driver behind him but not exactly in qualifying and practice sessions it is waved at the allotted time.

The second one that we can see very often is yellow flag which means some kind of danger that is ahead, debris from the crash.... driver must slow down and be prepared for stop.
Two yellow flags mean almost the same  there is some kind of danger that is ahead, drivers must
slow down and be prepared to stop, no overtaking is allowed.

The next flag is red one explains that  the sessions has been stopped usually due to an accident or poor track contditions.

Green flag is positive one, because tell the driver that any previous danger has been removed, the truck is now clear and drivers can back to the racing speed and overtake again.

The next one is white flag which warns driver to slow down, because of slow moving vehicle such as retiring car or an ambulance.

Black flag accompanied with a number on the board warns driver who is excluded from the race, which means that he has to drive to return to his pit in the next lap.

Another flag half white and black warns driver of unsporting behafiour, may be followed by a black flag.
(unfortunately  I could not find waving flag during the race)

Next flag black with orange circle which is show with a car number inform driver that his car has a mechanical problem, he has a potential to hurt himself or drivers around him. He must return into the pit.

Next flag the blue one. It may be waving flag or blue lights which warns driver that he is about to be lapped and to let the faster car overtake.

The last, but not least flag:) is the yellow and red stripped flag warns drivers of a slippery truck surface, usually due to water or lots of debris.

So that wasi it some informations about ten flags in Formula one, hope you like this post, thank you so much for reading this piece and visiting my blog....:):) see you next post

Jolyon Palmer

New season gives us new changes and emotions, there will be new team Haas, also new racing driver in Lotus who will replace Romain Grosjean, the 2014 GP2  Series champion Jolyon Palmer from United Kingdom:)…..Actually we can say that Palmer is from racing family, because his father Jonathan Palmer was racing in Formula One from 1983 to 1989. Jolyon also has a younger brother Will Palmer who is driver competing with HHC Motorsport (team in UK motor sport:)) in the highly competitive BRDC Formula 4 Championship(single seater motorsport series based in the United Kingdom).

His racing career began in 2005 when he was fourteen he took part in the T Cars championship's Autumn Trophy (racing series for drivers between the ages of fourteen and seventeen years old:)). He finished two times fifth in that championship, Palmer also took part in a second Autumn Trophy, and dominated the championship by winning four of the six races. He took part in two races of the 2007 season.

Then in 2007 he moved to the series which his father, Jonathan, created nine years before. In debut season he scored two pole positions and two wins. He missed the final two rounds of the championship, because of injury suffered in a quad bike accident. Fortunately he recovered  in time for the next season in 2008 which took much better results:). He scored one win and eleven podiums along with three pole positions.

In 2009 moved to the Formula Two Championship. His best result was a sixth-place.                                                                                     He returned to the series in 2010, winning the                                                                                           opening race of the season at Silverstone.

Palmer made his GP2 Series main season debut in 2011 to the last 2014 season which was the most spectacular for him, lots of trophy, winning championship. Jolyon Palmer went down in history because of scoring the most points ever in a season (256).

In 2015 Lotus hired him to be the third driver. He made lots of free practices and then in the middle of the season Lotus announced him to replace Romain Grosjean.

I am so excited and cannot wait to see his racing skills and good results:):). Thank you for reading this piece and your time…see you next post

First American Formula One team in 30 years

I am writing this post to tell you that after thirty years of break in 2016 there will be an American team in Formula One !!!!!:D:D which is called Haas. To be more precise the team is called Haas F1 Team and it is first team since Parnelli which has main base in United States in Kannapolis. The base is share between Haas and Stewart-Haas Racing, but Tony Stewart will be not interrelated with this Formula One team. Also has a European base in United Kingdom in Banbury  to make easier and quicker access to the team suppliers and streamlined logistics for when the team travels in Europe.

On the left side main base in Kannapolis(US) and on the right side second base in Banbury(UK):)

Organizer of  entering a team in the F1 championship in 2016 was Gene Haas who is a passionate about auto racing. He has competed successfully in off-road racing and sponsored numerous race teams through the years in CART, IndyCar and NASCAR, but for him it was not enough, in 2014 was granted a license by the FIA to join the starting grid for the FIA Formula 1 World Championship in 2016.

Haas have approached Italian manufacturer Dallara to design and build their chassis, with a power unit supplied by Ferrari. Jaguar and Red Bull Racing technical director Günther Steiner will be the team principal.

Furthermore Gene Haas employed as a racing driver Esteban Gutierrez who was in 2015 reserve driver in Ferrari, this is a great news, because Esteban  is  talented driver who had not have a chance for better results.

Gene also employed Romain Grosjean who was racing for Lotus in previous season. Romain  is a great driver and he accustomed me to be in top 10. It is seriously weird feeling when he finished race outside top 10.

All in all I am crossing my finger for both drivers, also the team, because it is great to see debut team which score good position. Maybe they replicate Brawn GP achievement from 2009. Who knows:):).

Thanks for reading this piece an visiting my blog;):):)
