After unexpecktable crash between Mercedes drivers Lewis and
Nico. Other drivers positions completely changed, on the lead was Red
Bull, Daniel Ricciardo and his new team
mate Max Vertsappen who in the middle of the season exchanged with Daniil Kvyat
and that was pretty shocking, but that is a good subject for another post :):).
On fourth lap safety car in and battle had started. Carlos Sainz was actually
on third position, and if he will finished on podium in his home race where his
fans where support him that is going to be awesome, but there was a huge issue
behind him which was called "Ferrari drivers"...:). Sebastian Vettel
was half second behind him and Kimi almost one second, all three drivers had
soft tyres on their cars. So Sebastian tried on one lap then another and
nothing happened Carlos was still on third place. on sixth lap drivers could
use DRS system so it was not a good news for Carlos, because in his team Toro
Rosso cars had an older Ferrari's power units than in Ferrari...that caused
attacks from Ferrari's side which worked out.
On eight lap Sebastan Vettel
overtook Carlos and then lap later Kimi tried to overtake, but he drive through
the corner and have to give position back, however he overtook Carlos one lap
later. Then it was a time for pit stops strategy, drivers positions had changed.
As a results position battle for third place won Sebastian Vettel!!!:):),
Carlos Sainz was sixth, and Kimi Raikkonen had the best results because he was
